Meet the Artist

John Williams Gallery hosts a vast array of his stunning photographs from around the world. His love for nature and beauty began at an early age. Growing up in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Pennsylvania gave John an eye for appreciating beauty and capturing nature through the lens of a camera.

John studied photography and videography throughout his school years and his career began with a studio in northeast Pennsylvania. John’s amicable nature built a successful business capturing wedding moments. Although the wedding business kept him busy, John decided to pursue his passion for nature and headed west.

After traveling west, for a time, John landed in Grand Lake, Colorado. There, he fell in love with the Rocky Mountains and all the beauty and outdoor fun that the Rockies provide. John made his home in Grand Lake in 1995 and the spirit of this paradise excites him every day.

His gallery at 917 Grand Ave, is an experience, as it captures all of nature’s wonders. His travels throughout the United States, Mexico, Canada, South America, South Africa, Australia and the Galapagos islands are reflected in his work throughout his gallery. John’s wildlife experience at the Pennsylvania Raptor and Wildlife center developed his knowledge, keen eye, and love for birding. Johns’s photography career also includes working in television, as a cameraman, for numerous outdoor channels.

John’s vast amount of work is displayed in his gallery and his love for his work is only surpassed by his desire to accommodate his client’s needs. He can fulfill specific sizing and dimensional requirements and a vast amount of mediums.  from canvas work to metals, his photography skills are sought after and unique. When John is not in his gallery, shooting a  wedding, or creating a family photographic memory, he can be found capturing a spectacular sunrise or sunset and all the beauty nature has to offer.
